Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been building for years, we’re excited to share our knowledge and help you create the perfect system. 

How we can help

  • Basic simulation of enclosures using WinISD.
  • Basic simulation of frequency response using XSim (requires measurements taken by you).

In addition to our free services, we offer the following services for a fee.

  • Design and cut the enclosure parts of your final design using our precision in house CNC. Included is a 3D model of your speaker using Fusion 360.
  • Fully custom speakers including assembly and basic paint finishes
  • Crossover assembly

Indicative rates for cutting parts are as follows:

Fusion 360 Enclosure Design and Toolpath Setup:

Starting at $120

  • Pricing varies based on the complexity of the design. A basic subwoofer enclosure typically meets the $120 minimum.
  • For reference, a 2-way bookshelf speaker design would be around $200, while a more complex 3-way design starts at $320.
  • You'll receive the 3D model in a .STEP file format for your own use.
  • Enclosure Design is required where we cut your enclosure as we need it fully modelled in our software to run the tool paths on our CNC.

CNC Cutting Service:

$60-$80+ per 1200x1200 Sheet + Material

  • We will nest your design on a 1200x1200 sheet (our CNC's maximum size) and charge per sheet.
  • Material costs are additional. We primarily use 18mm MDF, which is priced at $40 per 1200x1200 sheet.

Cabinet Assembly:

Custom Quote - Typically $300-$800+ per speaker

  • We offer cabinet assembly services with pricing based on the complexity of your project.
  • A small, basic sealed subwoofer build would be $300 ranging up to $800+ for more comprehensive multi-way tower speakers.
  • Alternately, we send the parts out in kit form to assemble yourself

Painting & Veneering:

Custom Quote - Typically $120 - $300+ per speaker

  • We currently offer Black or White Duratex finishes which are rolled or sprayed depending on your desired outcome.
  • Rolled Duratex is much less labour intensive as it doesn't require setting up and cleaning of spray equipment however spray finishes provide a much higher end and polished look.
  • We currently outsource veneering with pricing subject to complexity.

Shipping: 

Cost + Packaging Fee

  • We pass along the shipping cost directly, with an added packaging fee between $20 and $60, depending on the size of your order. This fee covers materials and the time to package your parts securely for transit.
  • Some smaller "baffle only" orders that can be shipped by AusPost come under our flat $15 shipping fee
  • Free pickup is also available.

Additional Services:

In addition to our cutting and assembly services, we can help you with every other step in the speaker building process. This includes advice on taking measurements, crossover design and assembly, DSP tuning, troubleshooting existing speaker issues and much more! Our typical rate is $80.00 per hour.
