About Us

What is our mission?

Our mission hasn't changed since we started offering speaker cables back in 2018. We want to provide a quality, no bullshit product manufactured by hand, by us, right here in Australia.

As with our cables, we don’t claim to offer the ‘best’ speakers or claim the title of ‘Audiophile Grade’. We simply provide objectively good speakers, handmade here in Australia for a reasonable price.

It’s as simple as that.

Who are we?

‘NB Speaker Cables’ ('NBSC' or 'No Bullshit Speaker Cables') was established in 2018 by brothers, Micah and Jeshua Miller who were born and bred in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. After 5 years of offering audio cables, our talents and passion expanded to building speakers where NB Audio was naturally born. We have a shared love for anything tech, a trait inherited from our father. Now in our mid 30's with money and space of our own, we have built our own Home Theatres and continue to enjoy and share our passion with others.

How did ‘NB Audio’ start?

NB Audio was a natural progression from NB Speaker Cables. Soon after we started assembling and selling speaker cables, we ventured into designing and building our own speakers. 

It started with subwoofers, before progressing into surround speakers and finally a front sound stage to replace 'store bought' speakers. We now have a fully custom hand built 7.2.4 system with a mix of passive and active speakers.

In May of 2023, we launched our first speaker kit "Mercury" which we listed on our original NB Speaker Cables page.

In April of 2024, we officially launched NB Audio with a website and branding of it's own.

In May of 2024, we began offering a comprehensive range of DIY speaker parts and equipment.

Our range is limited but we have countless designs we are chipping away in the background which we are finalising, ready to release!
