We’ve had contact from our distributor and have been advised that due to ongoing uncertainty around US tariffs, pricing on Dayton Audio products is currently unconfirmed. As a result, the importing of new Dayton Audio stock has been indefinitely suspended.
Most Dayton Audio products are manufactured in China, which is why they’re directly impacted by the current tariff situation. We typically ship Dayton products direct to customers from our Sydney-based distributor and will do our best to keep online stock levels accurate. However, if you're considering a Dayton product, we recommend checking with us before placing an order. Our website chat is the fastest way.
Once current stock is gone, we don’t know when more will arrive or what the new pricing will be. If you've had your eye on something, now’s the time to grab it.
At this stage, only Dayton Audio products are affected. Other DIY audio brands, like SB Acoustics and SB Audience (who manufacture in Indonesia), remain unaffected.
This is a good reminder of the value in supporting and investing in locally made products, where supply chains are more stable and pricing is less volatile. Unfortunately, there are very few Australian-made options in the DIY audio space, but we’re working hard to change that!
