Dayton Audio's 25 mm EX25HRDS-4 IMS™ coin-type exciter is designed to transform nearly any surface into a speaker. Its compact size allows for audio reproduction in unconventional places like toys, monitors, cabinet doors, and even windows. The exciter utilises a neodymium magnet to generate maximum magnetic flux around the proprietary voice coil, resulting in higher sensitivity compared to similar-sized exciters. This increased sensitivity reduces power requirements, enabling the use of very small audio amplifiers without compromising total output. The 1" voice coil, coupled with cooling vents, permits more input power for higher output applications while maintaining a slim-line form factor.
