Like speaker cables, capacitors are often wrapped up in buzzwords, exotic names, and inflated price tags. In reality, their job is simple: block certain frequencies, pass others. What actually matters is using the right material and keeping tolerances tight so the values are accurate and the resulting response, predictable and consistent.

Our axial electrolytic capacitors are the practical choice for crossover positions that require large values, where film capacitors would become bulky and unnecessarily expensive. While electrolytics don’t have quite the same ultra-low losses as polypropylene film, they are perfectly suited to bass and midrange circuits where high-value caps are needed and cost and size matter.

With values ranging from 4.7µF up to 330µF, they offer an affordable, space-efficient solution that integrates easily into crossover designs.
