Like speaker cables, capacitors are often wrapped up in buzzwords, exotic names, and inflated price tags. In reality, their job is simple: block certain frequencies, pass others. What actually matters is using the right material and keeping tolerances tight so the values are accurate and the resulting response, predictable and consistent.

Our 2% polypropylene film capacitors are designed for builders who want maximum consistency and precision in their crossovers. Polypropylene is the standard material for audio use thanks to its low losses, excellent stability, and predictable performance and with a 2% tolerance, you can be confident every cap in the network is extremely close to its rated value.

This tighter tolerance is especially valuable in complex or higher-order crossovers where budget is less of a consideration.

Values are available from 0.1µF up to 100µF, covering everything from fine-tuning tweeter circuits through to midrange and woofer networks.
