The compact Peerless NE65W-04 2" full-range driver features an aluminium cone with a FEA-optimised butyl rubber half-roll surround, driven by a high-strength neodymium motor. Its sculpted cast aluminium frame minimises internal reflections and doubles as a heatsink for improved thermal performance. A titanium voice coil bobbin and copper-capped motor enhance high-frequency response and reduce inductive distortion.
