The Scanspeak 26mm compact ring radiator tweeter uses improved materials and features patented Phase Plug Design. The tweeter has lower distortion and improved frequency response beyond 40 kHz due to optimised internal construction. Increased sensitivity (+2 dB) is the result of a higher-grade neodymium magnet. Improved Q is also a result of the optimised internal volume in a new high-precision, reinforced polycarbonate rear chamber. Black anodized aluminium Ø62mm faceplate and improved gold-plated terminals with increased heat resistance at solder points.
