Collection: Speaker Kits

One of the hardest parts of building speakers is just getting started. The cost of tools, the time it takes to design or cut parts, and the risk of making expensive mistakes can turn people off before they even begin.

NB Audio’s speaker kits are made to remove those barriers. Each kit is offered with not just the plans, but the option to have a fully CNC cut flat pack delivered for quick and easy assembly.

At the ultra-beginner end, we offer the Mercury Speaker Kit which is a simple, efficiently designed bookshelf speaker. This kit is designed for someone that knows nothing about speaker building. It uses quality components, comes with an extremely comprehensive step by step assembly guide, and avoids the complexity of more advanced builds. You won’t need a workshop full of tools or a background in electronics, just a bit of patience and a willingness to give it a go. The kit doesn’t just tell you what to do, but also explains why you’re doing it, helping you understand the fundamentals of speaker building as you go.

All our other kits provide more basic plans and assume some level of speaker building knowledge.

While our range is currently limited, we have been licensed to cut all speakers offered by Mark Audio and have permission from Paul Carmody himself to cut his designs for our customers.
